सुबह से पहले , पहली रौशनी की आहट
हँसते हुए, पर्दों से छन कर
मेरे हाथों में उनकी छोटी सी उंगलियां
और उनके घुंघराले बालों की सलवट
तोता मैना का आवाज़ें
और सुबह की ओस

तुम उंघती, उबासी लेती
हाथों में काफ़ी का मग… और हम

सब कुछ तो है… और क्या माँगूँ?




A dancing ray of light,
before dawn,
smiliing, creeping through the sheer curtains
my hands
curling around their baby fingers,
playing with their curly hair
The sound of morning birds…
and the morning dew…

Your sleepy eyes, a yawning you
A coffee mug…
and us..

Don’t I have everything? What else shall I wish for…
